The building’s design brings the community together through the constant visual connections between the different stages of the boat building process.

The ascending roofs creates a large gathering space for the community to celebrate and watch the amalgamation of the student’s hard work and the maiden voyages of the boats. The circular form of the building allows for views of the picturesque landscape and the continued flow of circulation around the building.
